The instructions are very simple and intuitive:

Just like any other, and expensive, analog guitar tuner you select the button corresponding to the string with the note that you will tune and US Guitar Tuner "hear" the guitar frequency and show the value on the screen.

Important Note:
This tuner is made for musicians and students, so if your guitar string is mounted on with a so wrong method, or it play more than 2 tones from his good tuning, to see move the tuner hour hand you must change the tension of the string to get closer to the desired tone for that note.
